Inside the Closet of PJ Moody

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY FOR YOU?
Wake up, spend a few minutes playing with my dog Jack, and then begin my phone calls to clients for my real estate business. Then grab a quick lunch and meet with clients, and work

with each individual to meet their specific home needs. I work with new or past clients to purchase the home of their dreams or to sell their current home.  I usually swing by the gym and then enjoy time with my amazing fiancé, friends or family.

WHERE ARE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO SHOP?
I try to support our local shops but do a lot of online shopping as well. I enjoy White House Black Market, Francesca’s, Saks and Nordstrom.

WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?
I am wearing a houndstooth blazer from Nordstrom, black dress from Francesca’s, and my staple pearl studs.

WHY DO YOU LOVE IT?
I like classic pieces that are timeless. Working at White House Black Market for nine years prior to doing real estate has made me appreciate neutrals, especially black and white.

HOW HAVE YOU ORGANIZED YOUR CLOSET AND WHAT PERSONAL TOUCHES HAVE YOU INCORPORATED?
I have organized it by like items/styles, color and seasons. I have a love for vintage pieces, which is where my  antique dresser and chandeliers come in. I have painted the room in very girly colors like pinks and tans. When I walk into the room every day, it is very much my own space, which is essential.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST SENTIMENTAL PIECE OF JEWELRY?
I love my vintage pearl necklace given to me by my parents when I graduated, but most importantly my new engagement ring! It is absolutely perfect and reminds me every day of the new chapter I am set to embark on, which is very exciting.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY OF GROWING UP IN KANSAS CITY?
I loved everything about growing up in Kansas City, but mostly just time spent with friends and family around the city.  As I travel more in my adult years, I realize how truly blessed I am to have grown up in such a wonderful city. Everyone is so friendly and will go out of their way to help anyone.  I appreciate Kansas City more in my adult years as I get to experience more of the culture.
