Local hat designer Amina Hood’s Panama straw hats are perfect for spring break

If there’s one accessory that can take a look to the next level in a matter of seconds, it’s a hat. Local milliner Amina Hood creates custom and upscale lids that have impacted the fashion sphere. Her work has been featured at the New York Met and worn to Chanel runway shows in Paris, and she will show at London Hat Week this April. These sleek and neutral Panama straw hats—a boater and a fedora—are woven from a toquilla palm found in Ecuador and round out any springtime outfit.
