PHOTOS: Chiefs beat Baltimore Ravens in home opener

The Kansas Chief Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in their home opener at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday, and photojournalist Jeremey Theron Kirby was there to capture it for 435.

The Ravens, whoΒ won their first two games against the bottom-feeding Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals, came into the game hoping to grind out a win against the Chiefs using their brutish defense and a unique run-heavy option-based offense that’s built off the skills of quarterback Lamar Jackson.

League MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs thought otherwise, putting the Ravens in a deep hole in the second quarter. The Ravens staged a comeback in the fourth but ultimately fell to the Chiefs 33-28.

Kirby’s camera captured some great moments in the game, which was played under gray skies and with occasional downpours.
