The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is rolling through Kansas City this Saturday, offering baked goods and Kitty collectibles

get ready for a double hot of cuteness: Hello Kitty’s mobile cafe is swinging through Kansas City this Saturday.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be posted up at Town Center on Saturday, August 15 from 10 am to 8 pm in the lane between Bravo and J. Crew.

The cross-country cafe on wheels offers treats such as cookies, macarons and mini cakes along with original Hello Kitty-branded favorites like water bottles and lunchboxes.

New merch, including mugs, enamel pins, cookie sets and canvas totes will also be available.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck was originally launched at Hello Kitty Con in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo in 2014. After a few years operating solely out of Southern California, another truck was added to the fleet. Today, the two trucks travel around the country, Oscar Meyer Wienermobile-style—one the West side of the country, the other East.

The Hello Kitty Cafe staff will be taking precautions to keep the public healthy by wearing masks and social distancing will be encouraged. Touch surfaces will be wiped down every thirty minutes.
